Question: On what channel is the ellens show & american idol for direct tv?

I have Direc TV, and I think it might be the same for you. But on the times below, go down to the Local Channels option when you hit your Guide, and start scrolling through the channels (at the time below) and look for the show. Ellen DeGeneres Show - 4pm weekdays American Idol: Tuesday: 8-9/ 8-9:30/ 8-10 PM (Depending on the week during the competition) Wednesday: 9-10 PM American Idol is on FOX I don't know about Ellen, just scroll through your Local Channels at 4 on weekdays.

(This is for the East Coast): Ellen Show: Channel 4 @ 2pm on weekdays American Idol: Channel 5 (Fox) I don't know the times. You can also use the Direct TV search to find the shows.
