Yes, but you have to leave the reciever on the channel you are recording and leave the reciever on.

Just plug your vcr into your satelite receiver

Yes, as long as you have your VCR hooked up and know how to use it you should be able to record anything you want.

Obviously you can't... but everyone else can.

Yes that is possible. all you do is hook it up to the tv and when whatever comes on that you want to record you just simply push the record button on the remote to the vcr.

The SAT receiver has to be plugged into the INPUT of the VCR, using the RCA cables (red, white, yellow) (acting as a source of what it should tape), than you need another yet of RCA cables to plug the VCR into the TV. VCR OUTPUT into the tv's INPUT (maybe video 1) Whalla!! done. Just set up and record. And no the TV doesnt have to stay on, just make sure the receiver is on though.!!

You will have to run your satellite's video and audio output into the inputs from your VCR. Then, You will have to leave the satellite reciever on and tuned on the channel that you want to watch. Set the VCR to record on the input channel (normally channel 3 or 4-whatever you can see the picture on) for the correct time and you should have no problems!

Unplug the AV cable connecting your satellite reciever from your TV and hook it onto your VCR. Get another cable and connect your VCR to the TV. that's all you need to do to start recording programs.

Yes, assuming your VCR is hooked up to your TV correctly. You must have your VCR on the same channel as your TV is on to receive the sattelite signal. Then select the channel you want to record from your satellite receiver and you're ready to go.

Yes, put the sat.cable into the IN on your VCR. Have your TV on ch. 3 and have the sat. receiver on the ch. you want to record. Hope that helps!
