Question: Want information on dish television?

We have Comcast, It includes the phone, internet and TV. It started out at $139 a month. Now it's up to $184 a month. this is ridiculous. We keep hearing how dish network is so much cheaper, . If any of you have dish, does harsh weather interfere with it? Does it go out in bad weather? I can't stand Comcast. They keep going up and up and up. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you

I have Dish. Yes you do lose signal (bad weather/ low clouds). temporarily.. problem is (Internet) only thing they offer is Satellite type, (sucks). Tell you what you might want to check into..AT &T U-Verse if it's available where you live.

Extreme weather does effect the satellite signal but these types of storms are normally fast moving as when they pass the signal will reacquire. I just got dish network and its been great i havent lost service once for more then 10 secs yes they offer internet and phone bundled though your local phone company dishnetwork.com/ internet/ default.aspx just type in your zip and ur all good edited: and yes it is alot cheaper then what your paying
