I joined the Air Force in March and have finally arrived to my technical training in the Presidio of Monterey in California. I am planning to buy a laptop computer with wireless internet in the near future and I was wondering if there was a program or service online that allows you to watch cable or satellite television stations such as TBS, Fox News Channel, and Comedy Central, just to name a few online, without having to buy cable. If we pay for cable/satellite television, why are there still ads?
I mean, what do they use the money for then? I understand ads on network television because you can get that for free, but it seems greedy to force people to watch ads on channels we pay for already.
