if any body knows about the hbo or maxx channel on satellite tv for pc. yea it got the channel but nothing comes on the tv when you turn to it from them two channels thats why i thought i needed a users guide

Satellite TV for pc. is this a scam? They claim to have 700 channels that you can watch....?
for free anytime. They have been solicitating me for a few days. They want 50 bucks to download their software and claim it is legal etc. I am skeptical. I am in the US and they claim to be from Australia. Who else has seen this and what is your experience with this company? Thanks
